WE DID IT. On the weekend of Dec 6, 7, and 8, more than 6,000 people came through the 2nd annual Downtown Whitby Christmas Market gate to curiously see what was happening in the beautiful backdrop of the Whitby Public Library. Because of you and your commitment to this community, we were able to deliver a whimsical Christmas experience for all ages to enjoy. They shopped, danced, skated, took photos, decorated, painted, ate and drank… there was merriment all around. And if that wasn’t enough of a gift, YOU helped us bring business to artists in our back yard and drive traffic to the business owners in our downtown. We are beyond grateful to have been in partnership with you for this 2nd annual signature event!
This is the 2nd annual Downtown Whitby Christmas Markets and we host this as a thank you to our amazing community and we couldn’t do it without you and your generosity. We have already begun plans for 2020 and hope we can count on you to join us again next year. I have included a stewardship report for you to review, to share the highlights of the weekend we achieved because of you!
If you are in, let’s plan a time to brainstorm about our partnership in early February when we can share the vision for year three. We have big ideas and value your input!
